Living Worlds Lab

Living Worlds Lab

Lives for agents.

Living Worlds is a core for agents to have lives. A self persists in a world, keeps one record of everything that happened to it, believes what people and outcomes bear out, and changes how it works only when a check beats the old way.

01The core

Belief and practice move on different evidence.

Most agents that improve themselves let anything rewrite them: a rating, a guess, their own reflection. Here a person's verdict and what the world did move what a self believes. Only a check, from an instrument its owner registered, can change how it works, and only when the new way beats the old one on the same items.

One record

Everything that happens to a self is an entry in a hash-chained record.

Its beliefs, its practice, its faults and its story are read from that record, and anyone holding an export can verify it without trusting whoever kept it.

The gate

A new way of working is a trial, not an edit.

Candidate and current practice run on the same items, held out from what the candidate was made from, and an anytime-valid test decides. A world may make the gate stricter, never looser.

Worlds

Selves live somewhere, and the place has laws.

A world holds its selves, populations drawn from typed dimensions, households and ties, word of mouth and life events, on its own clock. A self that travels keeps its record and leaves its trials behind.

Character

A personality that moves with life, and never reaches practice.

Temperament, stances and tastes shift with what a self takes in and what its world settles. They change how it speaks and what it notices; they never change what the gate decided.

02What runs on it

Each product keeps its own people. The core keeps their selves alive.

Selves that remember what they did, learn what holds from how it turned out, and earn how they work from checks that either pass or fail.

Simulation, prediction and analysis for sound: digital twins of the spaces sound is made and heard in, and the audiences that fill them.

What changed, for you, past your own measurement error, on the instruments you actually used.

A coding agent in your browser. It reads your workspace, makes the change and shows you the diff.

03Build on it

Closed access, for partner systems.

A tenant on the platform holds a subscription, its people and its projects. A project is selves, populations and worlds on the core, reached over one contract.

Access is closed. Tell us who you are and what you would build; the Lab reads every request and answers the ones it can take on with an invitation.

// the context before an answer, a ticket after it
const turn = await lw.turn({ self, surface, task, person });
await turn.done(answer);

// what the world did: moves belief
await lw.outcome(turn.ticket, { happened: true });

// what your instrument checked: moves practice
await checker.report({ ticket: turn.ticket, results });

The contract, the SDK and the MCP endpoint are generated from one document, so none of them can drift from the core.
